Initial diagnoses and intervention strategies

In-depth diagnoses of EAF situations and design of strategic approaches through joint actions.

In a first step, the research team and the development team will work in synergy to analyze the current state of family farms. The analyzes will focus on the major issues facing the EAFs, the current level of intensification of their farming operations and their capacity to be resilient to the effects of climate change, as well as the other parameters that impact their production. From a methodological point of view, DINAAMICC will opt for participatory diagnoses in household surveys. At the same time, intervention strategies will be studied and adopted to ensure greater effectiveness and efficiency, so that the actions carried out by the project can give more positive impacts and concretely improve the standard of living of the targets or beneficiary EAFs. Through periodic meetings, workshops or bilateral exchanges, discussions on specific themes will be conducted. The sub-activities linked to activity 1 are:• choice of priorities and development of intervention methods• in-depth inventory of constraints• analysis of EAF situations and review of adaptation practices
